Enquiries and information processed
When you contact us by email or phone, we process the contact details you provide and information necessary to handle your enquiry. This may include your name, email, phone number, work location and address, equipment details, messages and photographs.
We use this information to answer questions, assess your needs, prepare a quotation and agree on the work. Provide only necessary information. Do not send personal identity codes or other sensitive information by ordinary email.
There is no contact form. Email links open your own email application, and a message is sent only when you send it yourself. Its contents are not stored in a website database.
Legal bases
Handling a quotation request and preparing a contract at your request relies on pre-contractual steps. Processing necessary to carry out agreed work relies on performance of the contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Business customer contact details and other service enquiries are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining customer relationships (6(1)(f)). Processing records required by law, such as accounting material, relies on a legal obligation (6(1)(c)).
Optional visitor and performance measurement relies on your consent insofar as personal data is processed (6(1)(a)). You can decline measurement and use the website normally.
Website operation and statistics
Vercel hosts the website. Delivering web requests involves processing IP addresses and technical request information. Operating and securing the website relies on a legitimate interest in providing a functioning, secure service. Technical hosting processing is separate from optional statistics.
If you accept statistics, we use Vercel Web Analytics to measure visits and website use, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure performance. The information helps improve website operation and user experience.
Statistics may include the page URL, referring website, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location and loading performance. We remove query parameters and fragments from measured page URLs and permit only public website paths. We do not send enquiry contents, customer identifiers or custom customer events to these tools.
Vercel describes Web Analytics reporting as aggregated, without linking analytics data to an individual visitor's IP address or recognising people across websites. This does not eliminate technical processing of IP addresses in web requests. Change your choice or withdraw acceptance using Cookie and statistics settings in the footer.
Providers and processing locations
We use Vercel to deliver the website and provide accepted measurement. Email enquiries are handled using the current Google Gmail service. Website technical information and your emails therefore pass through different services.
Vercel and Google services may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy information describes processing locations, international transfers and applicable safeguards; links are provided below. You may ask us for further information about processing relating to your enquiry.
Map and Instagram links open an external service only when you follow the link. They are not embedded maps or social posts. External services are governed by their own privacy practices.
Retention
Retention of enquiry details depends on handling the matter, processing a quotation and any resulting customer relationship. If no order results, the need to retain information is assessed against closure of the matter and possible follow-up contact. Information is not intended to be kept without a processing need.
Retention of contract-related information takes account of completing the work, warranty and complaint matters, legal claims and legal obligations. Accounting material is subject to applicable statutory retention periods.
Technical hosting information and measurement aggregates are retained under the applicable service's retention practices. Your browser remembers acceptance or refusal of statistics for 180 days; this concerns remembering your choice, not retaining enquiries.
Your rights
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and request portability where that right applies.
You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send other requests to the company email. Identity may be verified proportionately if necessary. Do not send identity documents by email without being asked.
You may lodge a complaint with Finland's Data Protection Ombudsman if you consider processing unlawful. The website does not use automated decision-making or customer profiling.
