RT Asennus ja Sähkötekniikka Oy provides this website under the name RT-Asennus. These short terms concern the website's content and use.
Service information and agreeing on work
Service descriptions introduce the available services. The work, equipment, suitability, schedule, responsibilities and price are discussed and agreed separately. There is no online shop, order form or payment feature.
General descriptions do not replace a site-specific assessment, manufacturer instructions or a contract. This does not remove the company's responsibility for information given in marketing or agreed characteristics.
Quotations, fixed prices and estimates
A quotation specifies its scope and any validity period. Accepted quotations and contract terms are honoured. Agreed fixed prices or maximum prices cannot be changed unilaterally.
An estimate differs from a fixed price but does not allow unlimited overruns. Consumer estimates are subject to the consumer protection rules applicable to the work. Hourly work requires agreement on the pricing basis. The type of price, taxes and other agreed charges are clarified before an order.
Site conditions and additional work
Structures, existing installations and equipment condition can affect the work. If an obstacle or need for extra work arises, its effects are discussed with the customer and additional work and pricing are agreed before proceeding, in accordance with applicable law.
A general reference to site conditions does not authorise arbitrary additional charges or remove duties of professional skill, care or disclosure.
Images and use of materials
Service illustrations are explanatory drawings. They are not photographs of completed customer projects or a promise to supply the exact equipment depicted. Equipment and delivery are specified in the quotation or contract.
Rights to website text, images and logos belong to the company or other rights holders. Reuse requires the rights holder's permission unless permitted by law.
Errors, updates and statutory rights
We aim to keep information accurate and current and correct errors brought to our attention. Website content and service descriptions may be updated. An update does not retrospectively change an existing contract.
These website terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or the company’s statutory responsibility for defective work, negligence or misleading information. Service orders and their terms are agreed separately. Contact the company if you notice an error or wish to discuss service suitability.
